Determination of Antibiotic Residues in Medical Waste water by HPLC-Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometry
20 kinds of ultra-trace antibiotic residues in medical wastewater were determined by solid phase extraction-high performance liquid chromatography-triple quadrupole mass spectrometry.By optimizing the exper-imental conditions, the method had good linearity in the range of 1.00 µg/L~100 µg/L.The method detection limits were from 0.24 ng/L to 1.22 ng/L.The recoveries of spiked blank and actual samples with three mass concentration levels were 80.2%~108%and 75.8%~114%,respectively,and the RSDs of six measure-ments were 2.4%~8.4%and 1.7%~8.1%,respectively.This method was used to determine ultra-trace antibi-otic residues in the medical wastewater from two Three-A hospitals in Chongqing, the results showed that 11 anti-biotics were detected and the rest were not detected.
