Source Apportionment and Accumulation Characteristics of Heavy Metals in Dust from Lanzhou Metro Station by PMF Model
Setting 11 sampling sites on the platforms of Lanzhou metro station, the accumulation characteris-tics and sources of As,Cr,Cu,Mn,Ni,and Pb in ground dust were monitored. Results indicated that the aver-age concentrations of As,Cr,Cu,and Pb in ground dust inside and outside the metro station were higher than the soil background values in Lanzhou and Gansu.Cr,Cu,Ni,and Pb were the main pollutants in ground dust inside the station, while Cu and Pb were dominated in ground dust outside the station.Heavy metal pollution in ground dust inside the station was higher than that outside the station.Source apportionment re-sults showed that heavy metals in ground dust inside the station mainly came from the mixed sources of transpor-tation and anthropogenic pollution, industrial source and the mixed sources of transportation and atmospher-ic deposition, with contribution rates of 30.0%,33.6%and 36.4%,respectively.For the dust outside the sta-tion,they were mainly from the mixed sources of transportation and atmospheric deposition, the mixed sources of coal combustion and transportation, and transporta-tion source, with contribution rates of 38.7%,29.6%and 31.7%,respectively.
