Measurement of Power Level of Millimeter-Wave Radar Signal
FMCW Chirp is the man modulation technology used in millimeter wave radar. The regulations and standards of various countries and regions specify the peak and average power level limits for the FMCW Chirp signals. In order to accurately measure the power level of the FMCW Chirp signals,it is necessary to determine the time-domain characteristics of the FMCW Chirp signals, use the suitable measuring instruments, and consider the response characteristics of the measuring instrument to the FMCW Chirp signal, and at the same time configure the appropriate sweeping parameters,in order to obtain a measurement results with small errors. This article also gives general guidelines for measuring instrument setup.
