Study on Volatile Properties of Automotive Interior Adhesives
This article selects three commonly used adhesives for automotive interiors(water-based adhesive, hot melt adhesive, and solvent adhesive)as the research objects, and applies bottle-method odor and TD-GCMS to jointly analyze the volatility performance of different adhesives. The results showed that the odor properties of the three interior adhesives were water-based adhesive, hot melt adhesive and solvent adhesive in turn.Different types of adhesives contain different VOC volatile substances, and the main odor substances that have the greatest influence on them include Formamide,N,N-dimethyl-,triethylamine,phenol,2,6-bis(1,1-dimethylethyl)-,acetic acid,Butylated Hydroxytoluene(BHT)and various solvent substances.By studying the volatile properties of adhesives, the key substances affecting the volatile properties of adhesives can be determined, and technical support can be provided for improving the air quality in the vehicle.
