Analysis of the Causes and Solutions of the Motor Shutdown of a Smart Lock
A smart lock occurs during storage and use,and the DC brush motor stops. The parameters, macroscopic morphology and microstructure of pollutants and the micro-composition of pollutants were analyzed by means of multimeter, stereo microscope, scanning electron microscope, energy dispersive instrument and infrared spectrometer.Investigate the source of the contaminant; The results show that the phosphorus-based flame retardant in the black plastic shell used in the product volatilizes to form ammonium dihydrogen phosphate through hydrolysis and thermal oxidative aging in a high temperature and high humidity environment, which is deposited on the brush and the commutator, resulting in poor contact between the brush and the commutator. In turn,no current flows to the coil, causing the motor to not rotate. And put forward corresponding measures to provide a useful basis for further improving the reliability of the motor.
