Comparative Study of Corrosion Protection Process for Fasteners in Marine Environment
Fasteners as engineering equipment structural connection of basic parts, its mechanical properties and durability of the equipment between the components of the close connection plays a decisive role.Steel as the main material of fasteners,in the complex marine environment, will be subject to oxygen,Cl-and other corrosive media, serious erosion, thus posing a great threat to the reliable use of engineering equipment. In recent years, surface treatment technology as the main anti-corrosion means of fasteners has been widely studied by scholars at home and abroad. In this paper, the commonly used surface anti-corrosion processes of fasteners(electroplating,Dacromet coating,hot-dip zinc, thermal diffusion zinc)are classified and described, and the feasibility of their use in the marine environment is comparatively evaluated.
