Numerical Simulation of Temperature and Flow Fields in Environmental Adaptability Testing of Power Batteries
In order to study the temperature and flow field distribution within an environmental test chamber during environmental adaptability testing of power batteries,a three-dimensional model of the test chamber and the power battery was established based on an analysis of the overall structure.Numerical simulations were conducted on two different placement positions of the battery within the chamber. The results show that the air temperature uniformity inside the chamber is affected by the thermal load of the battery, with the degree of influence varying according to the battery's position.Compared to parallel arrangement, crosswise arrangement of the batteries alleviates some of the vortex generation in the chamber's air flow.
