A Comparative Study on Conducted Emissions Test Methods on Power Port for High-Power and High-Current Renewable Energy Products
In the testing of EMC conducted emissions for high-power and high-current renewable energy products(such as:PV inverters, energy storage converters, and charging stations),the regular AMN method can lead to current and voltage overload issues due to the significant voltage and current levels at the AC ports.Consequently, alternative testing methods have been introduced in the IEC/CISPR standards. This article evaluates and compares the test results of three testing methods with a single sample:the regular AMN method, the high impedance voltage probe method and the AMN used as a voltage probe method;Additionally,it offers recommendations for conducted emissions test on high-power and high-current renewable energy products.
