"促进"还是"阻碍":数字经济空间关联网络对碳排放绩效的影响

选取我国2011~2021年254个城市为样本,就城市数字经济空间关联网络特征及其节点中心性如何影响碳排放绩效进行实证检验。结果表明:①中国城市数字经济现已呈现出明显的网络化发展模式,但从网络节点中心性来看,仍存在显著的空间差异,表现出"东部地区-中西部地区"和"四大核心城市群-非四大核心城市群"的层级分布规律。②数字经济空间关联网络与碳排放绩效之间存在显著的正向关联。此结论在经过内生性问题的控制和稳健性检验后仍然得到支持。③人力资本投资在数字经济空间关联网络与碳排放绩效之间起正向调节作用。④影响机制显示:数字经济空间关联网络可以通过产业区域联系和创新合作网络促进碳排放绩效提升。⑤进一步分析,实证结果在地理区域、是否处于核心城市群、城市资源禀赋和城市规模这4个维度下存在异质性表现。
"Facilitate"or"Hinder":Impact of Spatial Connectivity Networks in the Digital Economy on Carbon Performance
This study took 254 cities in China from 2011 to 2021 as samples to empirically test how the spatial correlation network characteristics and node centrality of the urban digital economy affect carbon emission performance.The research showed that ① China's urban digital economy showed an obvious network development mode,but from the perspective of network node centrality,there were still significant spatial differences,showing the hierarchical distribution law of"eastern region-central and western region"and"four core urban agglomerations-four non-core urban agglomerations."② A significant positive correlation was observed between the digital economy spatial correlation network and carbon emission performance.This conclusion was still supported after the control of the endogeneity problem and the robustness test.③ Human capital investment had a positive moderating effect on the spatial correlation network of the digital economy and carbon emission performance.④ The impact mechanism showed that the spatial correlation network of the digital economy could promote the improvement of carbon emission performance through industrial regional linkages and innovation cooperation networks.⑤ Upon further analysis,the empirical results showed heterogeneity in four dimensions:geographic region,core urban agglomeration,urban resource endowment,and city size.
