The seasonal and spatial variations of water chemistry of rivers in Ebinur Lake Basin
Based on the two field data sampling and collection of water quality in May 2016 and October 2016.Multivariate statistical analysis was used to study the seasonal characteristics and spatial distribution pattern of river water quality in Ebinur Lake Basin. The results indicated that the concentrations of SO42-,Cl-and HCO3-in most surface waters are not significantly different, and the hydrochemical type is in the region of variable hydrochemical type. But combined with Piper map can initially determine that SO42-and Na+ were around Ebinur Lake area,Jinghe and Bortala rivers were high on HCO3--SO42--Ca2+-Na+,and the Kuitun river has high SO42--Cl--Na+.The origin of the water chemical composition is mainly affected by the geologic bedrock and surface materials, and surrounding environment. In October, some river water quality were affected by agriculture, industrial, and human activities. The results of this study could provide some useful information for water quality management in Ebinur Lake Basin.
