Coordinating the development of ecological and urban pattern is important to optimize the spatial ecological network. This study takes Foshan City as an example, extracting core ecological sources and natural corridors,economic-social sources and traffic corridors,to construct an ecological network pattern that coordinates ecological and urban pattern. And it reveals distribution features of ecological interference points, and proposes an optimization strategy for the coordinated protection of key urban ecological regions. The results show that:1)The core ecological sources area is 771.38 km2,located in Sanshui and Gaoming District. The economic and social sources area is 1 214.49 km2,located in Chancheng,Shunde and Nanhai District.2)It is recommended that a 4.15 km2 of ecological corridor should be designated as part of the ecological conservation area.3)The study identifies 152 ecological disturbance points, with a disturbed area of 12.18 km2.The coordinated development of the natural-urban complex system can be balanced by setting up the strategy of green space buffer areas. The findings could provide a reference for coordinating and optimizing the rational layout of ecological space and urban space in national land space.
