Temporal and spatial changes of water quality in phragmites australis wetlands of the northern lakeshore of Taihu Lake in summer
In order to understand the temporal and spatial changes of summer water quality in reed wetlands along the northern lake, surface water samples of typical reed wetlands along the lake shore were collected from June to September in 2022 based on the investigation of the temporal and spatial distribution of reed wetlands.Water quality physicochemical indexes such as pH,TN,TP,NH+4-N,CODMn,and Chl-a were determined, and the spatio-temporal variation characteristics of wetland water quality and the eutrophication state of water were analyzed. The results showed that the variation of pH,DO,EC and WT among the 7 reed wetlands was very significant(p<0.01),CODMn had significant difference between months(p<0.05),but TN,TP,NH+4-N and Chl-a showed no significant difference between months(p<0.05).All water quality physicochemical indexes were significantly different among Zhushan Bay,Yueliang Bay,Meiliang Bay and Gonghu Bay reed wetlands(p<0.05).In summer, the water body of wetland showed moderate or severe eutrophication, the water quality was the worst in August, and the Yueliang Bay was the worst in geographical position. The reed wetland in the northern lakeside zone of Taihu Lake belongs to the phosphorus limiting type, and limiting the input of phosphorus can effectively control the eutrophication degree of reed area.
