Relationship between phytoplankton community structure and environmental factors in Qianxia Lake
In this study,we explored the spatial and temporal distribution pattern of phytoplankton community structure in Qianxia Lake,an ecological survey was carried out at 18 sampling points in Qianxia Lake,Qingtian County, from August 2019 to July 2020,and the composition of phytoplankton community and physical and chemical parameters of water were measured in 4 seasons to explore the relationship between phytoplankton community structure characteristics and environmental factors in Qianxia Lake. The results showed that 176 species of phytoplankton were identified from 7 phyla. The number of species varied greatly among different phyla.Chlorophyta had the most species with 70 species recorded, followed by diatoma with 68 species recorded. The average density of phytoplankton was 0.588×106 cells/L,and the contribution rate of chlorophyta was the highest, followed by diatom. The average density of phytoplankton at different loci was different, and the average density distribution was summer>autumn>winter>spring.Redundancy analysis showed that the distribution and community structure of phytoplankton in Qianxia Lake were closely related to the environmental factors in the water, and the environmental factors that had significant effects on the growth and reproduction of phytoplankton in different categories were not exactly the same. The distribution of diatom, dinoflagellate and chrysochlorella was positively correlated with pH,ammonia nitrogen and total phosphorus, and negatively correlated with water temperature,5-day biochemical oxygen demand and fluoride. The distribution of cyanobacteria and green algae was positively correlated with water temperature,5-day biochemical oxygen demand and fluoride, and negatively correlated with pH,ammonia nitrogen and total nitrogen.Pearson correlation analysis showed that pH value, water temperature,5-day biochemical oxygen demand and fluoride were the most important environmental factors affecting phytoplankton community structure in Qianxia Lake.
