Study on coastal seawater quality and total nitrogen concentration of Chao River in Binzhou
In order to analyze the relationship between the water quality of the coastal waters of Binzhou and the total nitrogen in the water quality of the Chao River, the study focuses on the seawater pollutants found in the Chao River Estuary coastal waters between June 2022 and May 2023.The research analyzed the levels of inorganic nitrogen, total nitrogen in Jiajia and Shaojia, and the total nitrogen discharge from the Chao River. The results show that:1)The concentration of inorganic nitrogen in the seawater fluctuated significantly throughout the year. The highest levels were observed from July to September, and the water quality did not meet the standards for excellent seawater.Nitrate nitrogen was identified as the primary influencer of the inorganic nitrogen concentration, with nitrate nitrogen accounting for 84%,89.7%,and 82%during July,August, and September.2)Jiajia and Shaojia sections of the Chao River had the lowest total nitrogen concentration during the rainy season of the flood season. The correlation coefficient between inorganic nitrogen concentration in coastal waters and total nitrogen in the Jiajia and Shaojia sections of the Chao River showed a negative correlation of-0.797,-0.785.This negative correlation is related to the increase in water volume during the rainy season of the flood season.3)In coastal waters, the concentration variation of inorganic nitrogen is identical to the total nitrogen in the Chao River. The concentration of inorganic nitrogen in seawater is influenced by the total nitrogen content. The high total nitrogen emission of Jiajia is the main reason for the high total nitrogen emission, the total nitrogen emission is controlled by water flow.
