广州市生活垃圾处理温室气体排放特征及减排建议

根据《IPCC国家温室气体清单指南》的质量平衡法,测算了 2011-2022 年广州市生活垃圾不同处理方式下CO2、CH4 等主要温室气体的排放量,分析了CO2 排放当量随时间的变化特征,并提出相应的减排建议.研究表明:2011-2022 年间,广州市城市生活垃圾处理产生的CO2 排放量整体呈现先上升后下降的变化趋势,峰值出现在 2017 年,2022 年为历史最低水平.这一变化趋势主要归因于生活垃圾的处理量和处理方式的变化,而焚烧处理相较于卫生填埋其排放强度较低,处理方式从"填埋为主"转变为"焚烧为主",大大降低了CO2 排放量.建议加强政策引导,建立碳核算数据收集与质量管理体系,持续推进垃圾分类,优化焚烧处理技术,探索存量垃圾掺烧处理,推动行业碳减排.
Characteristics of greenhouse gas emissions from municipal solid waste treatment in Guangzhou and recommendations for emission reduction
According to the mass balance method of the"IPCC Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas Inventories",this study measured the emissions of major greenhouse gases such as CO2 and CH4 produced by different treatment methods of domestic waste in Guangzhou from 2011 to 2022,and analyzed the variation characteristics of CO2 emissions equivalent with time.From 2011 to 2022,the trend of CO2 emissions equivalent from domestic waste disposal in Guangzhou increased first and then decreased,with the peak in 2017 and the minimum value in 2022.This trend was mainly attributed to the change of treatment methods of domestic waste from landfill-based to incineration-based,while CO2 emissions equivalent of incineration-based treatment than landfill-based,thus CO2 emissions equivalent greatly reducing.This study proposes to strengthen policy guidance,establishes a system of carbon accounting data and quality management,continues to promote waste classification,optimize incineration technology,explore the co-combustion of stock waste,and promote carbon emission reduction in the industry.
