Research on spatiotemporal differentiation characteristics of agricultural green development efficiency in the Yellow River Basin from the perspective of grey water footprint
The Yellow River Basin is an important ecological protective screen and economic zone in China. In depth research on the spatiotemporal characteristics and influencing factors of agricultural green development efficiency has strong practical significance for implementing the national strategy of ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin. This study aims to systematically analyze the spatiotemporal characteristics and influencing factors of agricultural green development efficiency in the Yellow River Basin,in order to provide scientific basis and policy recommendations for achieving national strategies of ecological protection and high-quality development. This study starts from the perspective of grey water footprint, based on panel data from 9 provinces(regions)in the Yellow River Basin from 2000 to 2020,and uses methods such as super efficiency SBM model and Moran index to analyze the spatial correlation between the measured values of agricultural green development efficiency, and further establishes a Geographically Weighted Regression(GWR)model to explore the influencing factors and their spatial heterogeneity. The results indicate that the overall trend of agricultural green development efficiency in the Yellow River Basin is improving, but there are significant differences between different regions. There is a clear spatial negative correlation during the research period, and over time, the nine provinces in the Yellow River Basin have shifted from dispersed to low concentration areas.Among the six influencing factors, education investment, technological progress, and economic development level have a positive driving effect, while regional population, economic structure, and urbanization level have a negative impact on development efficiency.
