The study focuses on the succession of phytoplankton community and its influencing factors in Jinmeng Bay
From July to mid-September 2023,a comprehensive investigation and analysis was conducted on the water quality and phytoplankton community in Jinmeng Bay.Based on this,Canonical Correspondence Analysis(CCA)was employed to explore the relationship between environmental factors and phytoplankton community structure. The findings revealed that the water quality at Jinmeng Bay bathing beach generally complied with the third class of marine water quality standards, and there is phosphorus limitation. The average values of water temperature, salinity,DO,DIN,DIP and DISi were 28.7℃,26.20‰,8.59 mg/L,0.322 mg/L,0.013 mg/L,and0.93 mg/L respectively.During this survey period,a total of 51 species were identified among the phytoplankton samples collected at Jinmeng Bay,including Bacillariophyta(31 species),Dinophyta(17 species),Euglenophyta(1 species),Chromophyta(1 species),and protozoa(1 species). The average abundance of phytoplankton was 433.94×104 cells/m3,with an evolutionary trend observed among major groups:Skeletonemacostatum → Euglena spp.→ Thalassiosiraminima → Prorocentrumtriestinum →Scrippsiellatrochoidea.CCA demonstrated significant correlations between phytoplankton distribution and environmental factors such as water temperature, salinity,DO,DIN,DIP,DISi,N∶P,Si∶P.
