Source analysis and risk assessment of heavy metals in soil of Zaokai River Basin,Hancheng City,Shaanxi Province
Taking Zaokai River Basin in Hancheng City,Shaanxi Province as the research area, the contents of 9 heavy metals such as Pb,Mn,Zn,Co,Cr,Cu,AS,Cd and Hg in soil surface were detected, and the sources of heavy metals were explored through correlation analysis, principal component analysis and cluster analysis. The status and potential ecological risk of heavy metal pollution in the study area were evaluated. The results showed that:l)the content of heavy metals in the soil of Zaokai River Basin significantly exceeded the background value of Shaanxi Province, and the contents of Pb,Mn,Zn,Cd,Cr,Zn and Co were all higher, but the contents of As and Hg were lower, especially the content of Cd was 2.8 times of the background value of Shaanxi Province. The variation coefficients of the 9 heavy metal elements are Hg,Cd,As,Cu,Pb,Zn,Mn,Co and Cr in order from high to low, among which Hg,Cd and As are highly variable.2)The high content of heavy metals in the Zaokai River Basin is the result of the dual effects of human activities and natural factors.3)In the Zaokai River Basin, the average ground accumulation index of 9 heavy metals was Cd>Pb>Mn>Cu>Cr>Co>Zn>As>Hg from large to small,Cd pollution is the most significant, followed by Pb,but all are mild pollution, and other elements meet the clean standard.4)The results of potential ecological risk assessment of soil heavy metal elements showed that the overall ecological risk was slight, but the risk value tended to the lower limit of medium risk, and Cd and Hg were the main ecological risk factors.
