Design of Air-Based Interception Scheme for Hypersonic Vehicles
The defense of hypersonic vehicles in combat poses a significant challenge for all countries. However, the related research is still in the demonstration stage and there is no unified understanding of specific combat methods. In response to the defense problem of hypersonic vehicles in near-space,this paper presents a design process for the defense against near-space hypersonic vehicles based on a typical anti-air defense missile system. The design work of air-based interception schemes for hypersonic vehicles is conducted on the basis of reasonable combat scenarios.Firstly,it describes the five major performance advantages of hypersonic vehicles. Then,it analyzes the typical trajectory characteristics of hypersonic vehicles and the advantages of air-based in-terception.Finally,it describes the air-based interception scheme of hypersonic vehicles from three aspects:system composition, operational process, and operational timing, which provides a reference for future near-space defense system construction.
