A Software Upgrade Method for TMS320C6455 via Serial Port
A serial port upgrade method is proposed for TMS320C6455 applications program.The application program data to be upgraded is received through the serial port and the underlying upgrade program,the data crc verification is performed to ensure that the data is complete and reliable.After all application program data is received,the application program data can be solidified on the memory chip according to the instructions,and the program flag is updated.The secondary loader determines whether an application exists by updating the flags.In addition,the user can read the application program data on the memory chip through the read-back command,and confirm whether the data is correct by comparing it with the application program data sent.The upgrade method transmits data through the external serial port,avoiding repeated disassembly and installation of the equipment,and facilitating the subsequent maintenance of the equipment.
