Objective To investigate the distribution of pathogens and drug sensitivity test of ventilator-associated pneumonia(VAP)in intensive-care unit intensive care unit(ICU)patients,to provide basis for making effective and targeted control measures for patients.Methods 51 patients with ventilator-associated pneumonia in the ICU of our hospital from April 2020 to April 2023 were selected as the research subjects.Conduct pathogen detection and related drug sensitivity testing on its sputum samples,and statistically analyze the distribution of pathogens and related drug sensitivity results.Results A total of 78 strains of pathogenic bacteria were isolated from 51 patients with intensive-care unit VAP.Among them,59 strains(75.64%)were gram-negative bacteria,the first five were acinetobacter Bowman,Klebsiella pneumoniae,Pseudomonas aeruginosa,coli,Enterobacter cloacae,gram-positive bacteria were 5(6.41%),Staphylococcus aureus bacteria were 4(80.00%),and fungi were 14(17.95%).For Klebsiella pneumoniae,piperacillin/tazobactam compound,cefazolin and ceftazidime are the most commonly used antibiotics,and acinetobacter baumannii is highly resistant to most antibiotics,the first place was Meropenem(84.21%),followed by Levofloxacin,Ciprofloxacin,ampicillin sulbactam,cefepime and ceftazidime(73.68%)Pseudomonas aeruginosa is highly resistant to most antibiotics,such as cephalosporins,in imine and Meropenem,whereas Escherichia coli is highly resistant to up to 100%of antibiotics,the Staphylococcus aureus is resistant to penicillin and Clindamycin.Conclusions Acinetobacter Bowman,a gram-negative bacterium,accounts for the largest proportion of pathogens causing intensive-care unit ventilator-associated pneumonia and is highly resistant to most antibiotics,according to the results of drug sensitivity test,we should select suitable antibiotics for the patients in order to ensure the stability of the patients'condition and promote their recovery.
