Design and Mechanical Property Analysis of Novel Olive-Shaped Zero-Poisson's Ratio Honeycomb Structures
Honeycomb sandwich structure are often used in Large-deformation and high coad-bearing structures.It is paticularly important to carry out novel strutural design and parameter analysis to improve their safety and deformation capacity.The equivalent mechanical properties of sinusoidal zero-poisson's ratio honeycomb structure are investigated based on the gibson theory,and a novel olive-type zero-poisson's ratio honeycomb structure is designed on the basis of the traditional honeycomb configuration.Then,the mechanical properties of the honeycomb structure are investigated by means of physical experiments and numerical simulation methods.The results show that the novel olive-type honeycomb structure can take into account the in-plane tensile and compressive properties synchronously,which can effectively solve the problem of insufficient in-plane deformation capacity of the traditional zero-poisson's ratio honeycomb configuration.The research results have important application value in the aerospace field,especially in improving the structural deformation capacity.
