逐层筛选的SAR适配区选择方法

合成孔径雷达(Synthetic Aperture Radar,SAR)适配区的选取是弹载SAR匹配制导的关键技术之一,对SAR图像匹配性能起着至关重要的作用.结合SAR成像特性,本文提出了一种由粗到细、逐层筛选的SAR图像适配区选择方法.首先根据高程信息,在SAR可成像区域找出地形平坦的区域作为适配初选区,然后在适配初选区中根据基准图幅度信息找出散射特性丰富且稳定的区域作为适配候选区,最后在适配候选区中根据相关面特征进行景象的唯一性筛选,得到高性能SAR适配区.另外,针对SAR适配区信息量特征不稳健的问题,利用边缘特征图像中像素所处连通区域的大小对边缘强度进行加权,提出了加权边缘强度特征衡量适配初选区域的信息量和稳定性.试验表明,所提方法能够选择出适配性较好的区域.
As one of the key technologies for Missile-borne SAR matching guidance,matching-suitable areas selec-tion plays an important role for Synthetic aperture Radar(SAR)images matching performance.In this paper,a matching-suitable areas selection method which was from coarse to fine and layer by layer was proposed combined with SAR imaging characteristics.First,the flat terrain areas were found out as the primary matching-suitable areas according to the elevation information.Then,in the primary matching-suitable areas,the regions with rich and sta-ble scattering characteristics were selected as the candidate matching-suitable areas according to the amplitude in-formation.Finally,in the candidate matching-suitable areas,the regions with unique scene features were found out as the final matching-suitable areas on the basis of correlation surface features.In addition,to solve the problem of unstable information quantity feature,the weighted edge strength feature was proposed to measure the stability and information content of the candidate region,in which the edge strength was weighted by the size of the connected region where the pixel in the edge feature image was located.The experiment result showed that the proposed meth-od can select the matching-suitable areas with good matching performance.
