Analysis on Heat Balance for Liquid Lead-Bismuth Experimental Loop KYLIN-Ⅱ
Lead bismuth eutectic (PbBi) has been proposed as the candidate spallationtarget and coolant material for accelerator driven sub-critical systems (ADS) as well ascoolant material for fast neutron reactor, the liquid PbBi loop is the necessary experimental platform for the study of PbBi related technologies. This paper introduces the structure and main components in LBE metal loop KYLIN-Ⅱ which is constructed by FDS Team.Heat balance of three operating conditionsis calculated and analyzed. In the range of the three operating conditions, the results indicate that the input and output energy is balanced, the design of main componentsis feasible, and the loop could operate stable.
