This paper describes the position resolution performance of the prototype of Anger-camera scintillator neutron detector used in Chinese spallation neutron source(CSNS)spectrometer.The performance tests of the key devices of the detector are completed on the neutron test beam line BL20 in CSNS,including the position reconstruction ability and the radiation resistance of the Silicon Photon Multiplier tube(SiPM)array.The position resolution of the detector with different photoconductive thickness is tested.The Anger-Camera scintillator neutron detector prototype with 300 pm thickness 6LiF/ZnS(Ag)scintillation screen and 5 mm thickness air photoconductor obtained the best position resolution as 0.6 mm in the later stage,the detector can achieve the demand of large area high position resolution detector for neutron diffraction experiment by array stitching.The successful development of the detector provides favorable technical support for the future construction of the spectrometer.
