Study and Engineering Practice on Spoon Tube Failure of the Main Feedwater Pump in Fuqing Nuclear Power Plant
At present,the main feedwater pump of the M310 nuclear power unit in operation in China mostly adopts the hydraulic coupling speed control system without the scoop tube retaining function produced by Voith,Germany.This control system can not maintain the scoop tube at the current position in the case of PLC control power loss,scoop tube position sensor failure,scoop tube position controller(VEHS)failure and other failures,which will lead to the loss of control of the main feedwater pump speed fluctuations.This will lead to the fluctuation of the evaporator water level,and in serious cases,it will cause unit load rejection,turbine trip,reactor trip,etc.Based on the improvement of the stability and reliability of the main feed pump,this paper analyzes the principle and the control mode of the hydraulic coupler of the main feed pump,studies the increase of the spoon tube fault protection function of the main feed pump,and puts forward a targeted transformation plan.At the same time,it analyzes the implementation risks and control points of the transformation project,and gives suggestions for countermeasures.The transformation scheme has been successfully implemented in Fuqing Nuclear Power Plant and achieved the expected transformation objectives,which is of reference significance for the transformation of the main feedwater pump of similar nuclear power units to add the spoon-tube positioning function.
