Study on the Dynamics in the Control Rod Drive Line During the Rod Dropping Process
The rod drop time calculation of the control rod drive line is one of the most important work for reactor design and safety assessment. At present,a large number of studies have not fully considered and analyzed the fluid-structure interaction in the transverse vibration and the impact and collision friction of the control rod drive line during the rod dropping process. The impact model and friction models of the control rod drive line are established,as well as the impact motion equations of the control rod cluster assembly and fuel assembly when considering separated and un-separated states. The effects of stiffness and friction coefficient on the impact force are emphatically discussed, and related parameters are obtained by using the FEM method for simulation in the process of rod dropping and impact. The rod dropping time, velocity and related simulation results are fairly close to the test data.
