Study on Online Monitoring and the Early Warning System of Thermal Performance for Nuclear Power Plant Based on First Principles
The actual thermal performance of equipment and system in nuclear power plant may be lower than expected due to the deviation of equipment manufacture and installation,long-term aging of equipment and other reasons, thus the unit power output and economic benefits could be affected.Because of the complexity of the thermodynamic system,it is also difficult to locate the faulty equipment quickly. As a result, the online monitoring and the early warning system of thermal performance for nuclear power plant is studied to realize the real-time online monitoring of thermal performance for key equipment and the whole thermal system, and to give early warning of thermal performance deviation. The thermodynamic system physical model of an in-service nuclear power plant is established by software. The physical model is assimilated based on the actual instrument measurement data of the nuclear power unit, and the deviation of the measured value is analyzed and corrected by data reconciliation to obey the first principles. Then the actual thermodynamic performance of each equipment and whole system in the model is calculated. At the same time, the performance reference value is obtained according to the design characteristics of the equipment.By comparing the actual value with the reference value, the abnormal equipment in performance can be located quickly.Performance analysis results show that there are obvious deficiencies in the condenser and a series of moisture separator re-heater of the target nuclear power unit, which can be guidance for on-site operation optimization.
