Simulation Analysis and Prototyping of Cylindrical High-efficiency Filter
The filtration resistance-filtration rate relationship of a new glass fiber filter material was studied,and the basic parameters of the filter cartridge were determined according to the rated airflow and filtration resistance requirements.A 2D porous medium model was established according to the characteristics of the filter material,and a 3D model of the cartridge was further established to carry out simulation analysis of its flow field distribution and filtration resistance under the rated airflow.Then the matching between the simulation results and the theoretical design results was compared and analyzed.The model of cylindrical shell was established,and the simulation analysis of the flow field and resistance of cylindrical high-efficiency filter was carried out step by step on the basis of the mesh division,which guided the trial production of the prototype.The study results show that:the test results show good consistency with the simulation results and can be used to guide the actual production work.The initial resistance of the prototype involves both the filter cartridge and the shell.Besides,the resistance generated by the shell is considerable,giving rise to the need for further structural optimization.
