A Practical Study on the Fundamental Task of Cultivating Morality and Cultivating People in Cross-cultural Foreign Language Teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges——Taking New Horizons English Course(the 4th Edition)as an Example
Cultivating virtues and morality is the fundamental task and basic principles of education,students are lead by teachers to establish correct outlooks on life and values so as to consolidate foundation and cast soul for the future talent.Taking the fourth edition of the English textbook"New Horizon English Course"as an example,this research explored the practical measures to strengthen morality and cultivate talents in the cross-cultural foreign language teaching in higher vocational colleges.It is believed that foreign language teach-ing in higher vocational colleges should characterize vocational education,and improve teachers'quality,strengthen digital empowerment education,and focus on shaping students'personality,cultivating students'core competitiveness,educating students by culture,and effectively implementing the fundamental task of culti-vating virtues and morality in teaching practice.
