In the process of modernization of urban social governance,social work organizations play an im-portant function in co-governance.From the macro,meso and micro perspectives,it is a link of benign interac-tion between different governance subjects,a platform for integrating social resources,and an effective boost to help others help themselves and promote social participation.However,in the practice of participating in social governance,social work organizations are often faced with many difficulties that cannot be ignored,such as shortage of resources,organizational development,role positioning and linkage ability.Therefore,in the practice of social workers'organizations participating in social governance,it is necessary to expand financing channels,enhance professional capabilities,build social work service brands,strengthen social work identity,expand pub-lic awareness and social participation,and promote the diversification of governance subjects to enhance co-governance.
