细尾獴是一种备受人们喜爱的野生哺乳动物,在野外环境下的行为高度社会化,身姿与社会行为独特.然而,由于野外栖息地的破坏和非法捕猎,其群体数量正在逐渐减少.因此,人工饲养成为了保护细尾獴的关键手段之一.文章旨在提供细尾獴人工饲养环境设计、饲料及饲喂、繁殖与幼仔管理及健康管理、疾病预防等方面的实践指导,为细尾獴的种群保护和人工饲养管理提供科学有效的建议.
Abstract
The slender-tailed meerkats are well-known to most people who enjoy animals because of their charismatic postures and social activities,and they live in highly social groups in the wild.However,due to the destruction of its natural habitat and illegal capturing,its population is being threatened in recent years.Therefore,artificial breeding has become one of the key means to protect the slender-tailed meerkat.This article summarized the practical measures on the artificial breeding environment design,feed and feeding,reproduction and pup management,as well as health management and disease prevention in the slender-tailed meerkats,to provide a reference for the conservation and the management of artificial breeding of the mongoose population.
