Henan dairy goat is an excellent local dairy goat breed unique to Henan province.In this paper,the origin of breed,production area distribution,stock quantity,conformation,and production performance of Henan dairy goats are described,the constraining factors affecting their development are discussed,and the countermeasures for the protection and industrial development of Henan dairy goats are proposed,aiming to provide reference for the protection and utilization of Henan dairy goat breed resources.
