Somatic cell nuclear transfer technology and application
Somatic cell nuclear transfer(SCNT)is a technique that enables differentiated somatic cells to acquire totipotency,which is of great value in developmental biology,biomedical research and agricultural applications.The technique consists of taking a denucleated oocyte(egg cell)and implanting a donor nucleus from a somatic(body)cell.In this paper,the principles,technical protocol,applications and scientific research value of somatic cell nuclear transfer were reviewed,aiming to provide reference and basis for the research of somatic cell nuclear transplantation.
