The application of story-telling teaching in Animal Biochemistry course in higher vocational college
Animal Biochemistry is a fundamental course in the major of animal husbandry and veterinary science in vocational colleges,highly relevant to studying such core courses as animal pharmacology and animal pathology.Story-telling teaching in the classrooms is a teaching method that intends to improve teaching effectiveness through using scientific stories of subject development and creating story scenarios associated with the teaching content of animal biochemistry.In this paper,the comparison of the teaching effects of implementing story-telling teaching and regular teaching was discussed.The results suggested that story-telling teaching in Animal Biochemistry was popular and had positive teaching effects,mainly in improving the fun of the classroom,reducing the difficulty of understanding the course,and helping to expand the entry path of ideological and political education in the course,showing a potential value of promotion.
