Analysis of the impact of skills competitions on practical teaching in the animal husbandry and veterinary medicine program
The vocational school's skills competition is conducted through a combination of theory and practice.The aim of this study was to explore the practical effects of skills competitions in vocational education,and to analyze the impact of such competitions on the improvement of students'skill levels,the cultivation of professional qualities,and the innovation of teaching models.Guizhou Vocational College of Agriculture took the opportunity of the Guizhou Province Agricultural Industry Vocational Skills Competition(Livestock Reproduction Technician)as an opportunity to select students with strong psychological resilience,adaptability,and hands-on abilities for participation.These students were trained by experienced and highly responsible instructors.Through systematic theoretical and practical training,students significantly improved their practical abilities and overall quality in the field of livestock reproduction,which in turn promoted innovation in teaching models.The competition facilitated the exploration of more effective teaching methods and approaches,thereby enhancing teaching quality.
