Artificial induction of triploidy in Brachymystax lenok
In order to explore the triploid breeding technology of Brachymystax lenok, the collected eggs from healthy mature parent fish of Brachymystax lenok were divided into an experimental group and a control group. After artificial insemination, the experimental group was treated with heat shock for a duration of 10,15,and 20 min at the temperatures of 26 ℃,28 ℃,and 30 ℃,at 10,15,and 20 min after fertilization, and no heat shock for the control group, from which, the fertilization rate, hatching rate, and triploid rate of each group were evaluated. The results showed that the fertilization rate of the experimental group was over 93.00%,and the average hatching rate was 37.5%;The triploid yield was the highest(100%),when a 28℃ heat shock was applied for 15 min,10 min after fertilization, suggesting the significance of the appropriate temperature, suitable treatment timing after fertilization and duration of heat shock for the induction of triploidy in Brachymystax lenok.
