Research on the Level of Opening-up in the Western Inland Region——Taking Sichuan Province as an Example
Improving the level of opening-up in the western inland region and promoting the development of an open economy in the region is of great practical significance for achieving reform and opening up again.Select relevant data from the western inland province of Sichuan from 2007 to 2019,Construct an evaluation index system for the level of opening-up from the perspectives of overall macroeconomic,infrastructure,degree and scale of opening-up,and apply factor analysis method to quantitatively analyze the open economy of Sichuan.The research results indicate that in recent years,the level of Sichuan's opening-up to the outside world has steadily improved.According to empirical results,it is necessary to actively attract foreign investment and improve the quality of open economy development in the future;Consolidate the industrial foundation,upgrade the export commodity structure,and improve the ability of product exports to earn foreign exchange;Focusing on the countries along the"the Belt and Road"and taking advantage of the new opportunities of RCEP opening,expand the open international space;Propose countermeasures and suggestions to optimize the"development conditions"and promote the in-depth extension of Sichuan's open economy.
