Research on the Complementarity and Competitiveness of ICT Product Trade Between China and BRICS Countries
With the development of digital economy and digital trade,information and communication technology(ICT)plays an increasingly important role,and the importance of ICT product trade as an important part of ICT in digital economy research is also highlighted.Based on the trade data of ICT products of BRICS countries from 2000 to 2021,this paper analyzes the ICT trade between China and other BRICS countries by using trade dependence,competitive advantage index,trade complementarity index and trade intensity index.China's import value is greater than that of ICT products.China has great potential for trade with other BRICS countries in the areas of information and communication equipment and miscellaneous.
