Research on the Impact of Human Capital on Regional Innovation Ability in China
Based on panel data from 31 provinces in China from 2001 to 2021,this study analyzes the impact of human capital on regional innovation capabilities by constructing panel regression models and moderating effects models.Research has found that human capital can positively promote the improvement of regional innovation capabilities;The agglomeration effect,structural upgrading effect,and investment effect of human capital can all positively regulate the impact of human capital on regional innovation capacity.Among them,the agglomeration effect has a relatively large moderating effect,followed by structural upgrading effect,and investment effect is relatively small.Based on the above conclusions,in order to promote the improvement of regional innovation capabilities,it is recommended to maximize the utilization of existing talent resources;Strengthen the construction of human capital;Establishing a new mechanism for human capital development;Promote the agglomeration in human capital.
