Research on the Impact Mechanism of Rural Revitalization in Western Regions from the Perspective of Digital Economy
The high-quality development of rural economy is one of the core goals of the current rural revitalization strategy.The application of digital technology has injected new impetus into the strategic layout of rural areas and played an important role in rural construction in the western region.According to research using entropy method to measure provincial panel data in the western region from 2012 to 2020,it was found that there is a direct positive relationship between the development level of the digital economy and the level of rural revitalization,while human capital and technological innovation investment are considered two important threshold factors for the digital economy to promote rural revitalization.The study also found that the higher the level of human capital and the intensity of technological innovation investment,the better the impact of the digital economy on rural revitalization.Emphasizing the development of digital economy in the western region,combining digital technology with local characteristics,strengthening government support and digital education for farmers,will help further promote the development of rural revitalization in the western region.
