Research on the Influence of Dual Cycle Development on the Global Value Chain Position of Chinese Manufacturing Industry
The study of the impact of the"dual-cycle"on the position of manufacturing global value chains is not only required for the high-quality development and transformation of the manufacturing industry;but also for enhancing the breadth and depth of the embeddedness of manufacturing global value chains.By constructing the main evaluation indexes of the double cycle and utilizing the global value chain status index,we analyze the impact of the double cycle pattern on the global value chain status of China's manufacturing industry.The results show that the economic inner cycle stimulates the quality improvement of low-tech foreign trade and forces the traditional low-tech manufacturing industry to carry out self-transformation and technological upgrading;the level of the outer cycle plays a more significant role in promoting the value chain status of the manufacturing industry and each sub-sector,indicating that adherence to opening up to the outside world plays a key role in the enhancement of the embeddedness of the value chain.
