Research on the Metaverse Empowering the Integrated Development of Ideological and Political Education in Colleges and Universities—Taking Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle as an Example
Promoting the integrated development of ideological and political education in colleges and universities is a key task to achieve the integrated development of colleges and universities.As one of the current modern information technologies,the metaverse,with its system integration of various emerging digital technologies,constructs a virtual space that integrates and coexists with the real physical space,breaking through the temporal and spatial limitations of teaching and learning in the real world,and providing learners with an immersive experiential learning environment with ultra-high simulation.Both college ideological and political workers and students can carry out ideological and political education activities together in the virtual metaverse space.Ideological and political workers can share their own virtual digital teaching resources in the metaverse space,conveniently and quickly achieving the co-construction and sharing of high-quality teaching resources.College students can also choose their own class time and teaching contents according to their own situation,so as to meet the actual teaching needs of different college students,better implement individual-based teaching,stimulate their enthusiasm and promote the deepening and implementation of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.
