Research on the Temporal Difference of the Impact of Cross-border E-commerce on Trade under the RCEP Agreement
In order to broaden the double circulation channel and open the new idea of external circulation, the VAR model is established based on the import and export panel data of China and RCEP member countries from 2010 to 2021 combined with China's cross-border e-commerce transaction volume, and the dynamic impact of cross-border e-commerce development on China's import and export trade is studied. The results show that in the long run,the development of cross-border e-commerce makes the elasticity coefficient of bilateral trade between developing countries and China higher than that of developed countries, and the development of cross-border e-commerce is conducive to China's trade with developing countries. In the short term, the development of cross-border e-commerce has a gradually increasing positive impact on the import and export of some countries such as China and South Korea. The development of cross-border e-commerce has a two-way dynamic interaction relationship with the trade between China and many countries.
