Research on the Impact and Mechanism of Digital Economy on High-Quality Economic Development—Take 13 Prefecture-Level Cities in Hubei Province as an Example
Playing a more and more important role in high-quality economic development:the digital economy has become a crucial engine to advance high-quality economic development.The entropy value method being used to measure the condition of digital economy development and high-quality economic development in 13 prefecture-level cities in Hubei Province from 2011 to 2021,the influence and mechanism of digital economy on the high-quality economic development of Hubei Province were systematically studied.There are results that the digital economy has a significant positive effect on the high-quality economic development of Hubei Province,and boosts the high-quality economic development of Hubei Province through technological innovation.Based on this,Hubei Province is expected to increase policy support for the digital economy,upgrade the financial support structure,and optimize the investment and financing environment,so that the digital economy does well in promoting high-quality economic development.
