Research on the Promotion of High-Quality Development of Rural Public Services through the Digital Economy in Rural Areas
To understand the impact of the digital economy on the quality of rural public services,an analysis was conducted using sample data from 30 provinces between 2013 and 2022,employing benchmark regression and threshold effect models. The results indicate that the digital economy significantly improves the quality of rural public services and farmers'satisfaction. The promotion effect of the digital economy on the quality of rural public services is significantly enhanced after the levels of economic development and rural human capital reach certain thresholds, highlighting the importance of the"digital divide"threshold effect.Heterogeneity analysis shows that the quality of rural public services is most affected by the digital economy in the eastern regions. Therefore, local governments should strengthen the integration of the digital economy into the rural public service system and cultivate high quality farmers, among other measures.
