Research on the Impact of Corporate Social Responsibility on Financial Performance—Based on the Mediating Effect of Media Attention and Financing Constraints
In recent years,under the new development concept and the dual-carbon goal,CSR performance has received extensive attention from the public.The study empirically analyzes the relationship between CSR performance and financial performance and its influence pathways using a sample of A-share listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen from 2010 to 2021.The results show that CSR performance can enhance financial performance;CSR performance enhances financial performance by increasing media attention and alleviating financing constraints;heterogeneity analysis shows that state-owned enterprises and product market competition weaken the promotion effect of CSR on financial performance.
