The Impact of R&D Investment on the Operational Performance of Software Development Companies
The current software development companies are facing tremendous opportunities for growth.How to effectively increase research and development investment to enhance the operational performance of software development companies has become an urgent issue to address.Using multiple linear regression model,this study examines the impact of R&D investment on the operational performance of software development companies listed on the ChiNext board of the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges from 2020 to 2022.The research findings indicate that the intensity of research and development(R&D)expenditure in software development companies has been increasing year by year,with companies paying more attention to the investment in R&D funds.The stronger the intensity of R&D expenditure,the stronger the profitability of software development companies.And based on the conclusions,relevant recommendations are proposed,which can provide decision-making references for enterprise managers based on the research findings.
