Research on the Impact of Digital Economy Development on China's Foreign Direct Investment
The development of the digital economy conforms to the trend of the times,greatly enhances the competitiveness of China's industry,and broadens the international market of enterprises.By constructing a digital economy index system to measure the level of digital economy in various regions of China,and using the panel data of 31 provinces or regions in China from 2004 to 2021,and finally using the benchmark regression model and the mediation effect model to empirically test the impact effect and mechanism of digital economy on outward direct investment.The empirical results show that the digital economy has an obvious positive stimulating effect on China's outward direct investment,and the digital economy can indirectly and positively promote outward direct investment by acting on technological innovation.The results of heterogeneity analysis showed that the level of digital economy development had different promotion effects on different regions and years,and had a greater positive promotion effect on the eastern region and the recent years.Based on this,make reasonable suggestions.
