Potential Measurement of Sino-Russian Natural Gas Trade Cooperation Based on the Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality Goal
Based on the Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality Goals,this paper comprehensively analyzes the background,current situation and problems of Sino-Russian natural gas trade,calculates the potential of natural gas trade between the two countries through empirical analysis using the trade gravity model,and forecasts the future prospects of natural gas trade between the two countries.Promoting China-Russia gas and energy cooperation under the Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality Goals will help maintain global energy security,promote economic development,and contribute to energy transition and ecological environment protection.At the same time,in order to solve the problems existing in Sino-Russian natural gas trade,China and Russia can reach an agreement on cooperation mode,energy pricing and carbon emission market,which will promote the sound development of Sino-Russian energy cooperation.
